In 1749, Reverend Henry Caner contacted a self-trained architect and invited him to design a new building to replace the small, outdated King's Chapel that was erected in 1688. The architect, Peter Harrison, had just completed his first building in Newport, Rhode Island, but accepted the offer. He submitted detailed designs to the members of King's Chapel without ever setting foot on the building's site...

Guests will explore the sanctuary, examine the architecture and art throughout the chapel, and learn how the chapel has changed over the past 263 years.
Daily Tour Times: Mondays through Saturdays: 10:15 AM and 4 PM Sundays: 4 PM
Tickets cost $5 per person and are available for purchase in person at King's Chapel.
