Custodial/Light Maintenance (Church Sexton) Position 2023
 
King's Chapel is an historic monument and a living congregation. We blend old and new – a church founded in 1686, and a community of people open and searching, still learning how God can be more real and understandable to each of us in our daily lives. We have weekly worship services in two locations, unique music programs, and are located on the historic Freedom Trail, open to hundreds of thousands of visitors each year. We are in need of a Sexton to fulfill the custodial and preventative maintenance duties of King’s Chapel and the Parish House properties.
Do you love old buildings and all that comes with them? From the beauty of the wood and marble inside and out, to the machines that help these buildings run? Seeking someone to carefully maintain all that is within the walls, and outside on our properties, too! Must have some building systems knowledge, attention to detail, be reliable and able to work with people from all walks of life.
Applicants must be able to easily climb ladders, work with household chemicals, and be able to lift 50#.
 
Hours:                             32 hours weekly guaranteed, with seasonal overtime if needed
Compensation              Hourly. Benefits available include Health, Life and LTD, and PTO.
