Christmas Carols

While music has been part of King's Chapel Christmas services for centuries, it would not be until 1865 that King’s Chapel hosted the first Christmas Carol Service that was specifically centered around music.

We've assembled a little book of popular Christmas carols and hymns, including some that have direct and indirect connections to King's Chapel, that you can try at home.

Download the booklet here. If you want, you can sing along with the contemporary King's Chapel choir this coming Thursday for the annual Lessons and Carols Christmas Eve service that will include some of these historical hymns!
