Lauren Bergnes Sell
Lauren has moved all over the east coast in pursuit of her schooling, and her Master’s program in Public History has brought her to beautiful Boston! As a graduate student, at Northeastern University, working within the Digital Humanities, she hopes to educate visitors to King’s Chapel through innovative 3D technology. These include 3D modeling, printing, and virtual exploration of the building and crypt with the help of Augmented Reality. Lauren received her BS in History from Western Carolina University in North Carolina and immediately dove into her Master’s program. She has worked at The Field Museum in Chicago, IL, and while there discovered a deep passion for engaging the public with the history around them. Her goal is to modernize the presentation of information through fun and innovative ways that are sure to make a lasting impression on everyone who visits this beautiful, historic site.
