A Book of One's Own

Picture
Looking at the prayer books owned by historic and current members can tell us a lot about this book's importance to King's Chapel.

This new online exhibit explores the historic tradition of owning King’s Chapel’s special version of the Book of Common Prayer. While the prayer book has been central to the theological and social history of King’s Chapel since in 1686, the prayerbook is also one of the few, tangible objects that connects members of King’s Chapel both past and present.
