Rev. Eric Cherry
Interim Minister
Rev. Eric Cherry (he/him) began serving as Interim Senior Minister of King's Chapel on August 1, 2026. He comes to us after serving congregations in Iowa, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island, and also served on the national staff of the Unitarian Universalist Association. He was ordained in 1997.
Rev. Eric will guide King's Chapel through the transition from the settled ministry of Rev. Joy Fallon to the congregation's next settled ministry. This work will include focused reflection on the congregation's heritage, mission, systems and structures (leadership), connections, and vision. Through it all, Rev. Eric seeks to provide an inspirational, relevant, and caring presence for the congregation.
Rev. Eric was raised as a Unitarian Universalist on Long Island, New York. He holds a B.A. from Earlham College (1992) and an M.Div. from Meadville Lombard Theological School (1998). He and his wife, Linda Rose, were married in 2001 and have called Mansfield, Massachusetts, home since 2004. During the interim, they are delighted to be living in the King's Chapel parsonage, where they are joined by their beloved rescue dog, Dexter, a five-year-old Beagle mix.
