Discover the history behind life and death in colonial Boston on a Bell & Bones Tour of King's Chapel!

Guests learn about historic burial practices in our 18th century crypt before climbing the bell tower to visit our
1816 Revere bell, the largest and "sweetest sounding" Paul
Revere's foundry ever made!

Tour Schedule:

During the winter, Bell & Bones Tours are offered Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 11 AM, 12 PM, 2 PM, and 3 PM. Tours begin at 2 PM on Sundays.

Pricing:
Adults: $7
Student/Seniors/Military: $5

Kids under 13: $3
EBT Cardholders: $2 per person for up to 5 guests

Please note:
This tour is recommended for visitors aged 10 and up. Participants must be physically able to climb steep stairs and navigate obstructions both overhead and underfoot, and is not recommended for visitors with fear of heights or claustrophobia. Visitors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Visitors must sign a waiver before taking part in the tour.
Explore the sanctuary from new perspectives, focusing on themes of continuity and change throughout King's Chapel's 332 year history! On this tour, guests explore both floors of the sanctuary to experience the stories the building itself can tell us about the church's history.

From what we know about the first wooden chapel to why the church is no longer painted pink like it was 200 years ago, there is so much to learn about the architecture and material culture that construct how people experience the space today.

Tour Schedule:
During the winter, Art & Architecture Tours are offered at 10:15 AM on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Pricing:
Adults: $5

Kids under 13: $3

EBT Cardholders: $2 per person for up to 5 guests

If interested in taking an Art & Architecture Tour at 1 PM, please contact the History Program Director for more information.
Tour tickets may also be purchased on-site at King's Chapel for all public tours.
Please contact the History Program Director to confirm the tour schedule and availability -- as an active house of worship, our tour schedule is subject to change.
