In creating this online exhibit, the King's Chapel History Program invited members of King's Chapel's contemporary congregation and clergy to reflect on the relationships many of them have formed with their personal prayer books, and we have shared some of their responses below.
We hope this conclusion to the exhibit brings the continuity between past and present to life, as seen throughout the stories of historical congregants and their prayer books, and encourages viewers to reflect on what objects and texts they have built personal connections with that influence their personal practices of their spirituality, across denominations.
