We are thrilled that Tuesday Recitals are back! These recitals last between 30 and 40 minutes and take place every Tuesday at 12:15 at King's Chapel. They feature a wide variety of performing artists ranging from local students to traveling performers. The performances range from jazz and folk music from numerous ethnicities to classical music from medieval times to the present. The Tuesday recitals will be live-streamed (please note our live-streaming is still a work-in-progress!). Tune in at 12:15 PM on Tuesdays to watch!

In honor of J.S. Bach's 336th birthday, King's Chapel Music Director Heinrich Christensen offered an organ recital on Sunday, March 21 2021. The works featured are Sonata 1 in E Flat Major, Chorale Partita on Sei gegrüßet, and the Concerto in d minor which Bach transcribed for organ from Vivald's original for two violins.

On Sunday, February 14 2021 the King's Chapel Choir presented A Virtual Valentine in the form of a virtual concert. The program takes you from Monteverdi to Berlin. Several selections were recorded at the Parish House, using our lovely pianos, but we have some lovely nature footage, as well as of course cozy/zany At Homes with the choir members.

On June 2 2021, Heinrich performed Symphonie op. 42 no. 6 by Charles-Marie Widor at Saint Cecilia Boston, part of their virtual organ recital series.

Most years the King's Chapel Choir hosts a benefit concert at the Little Chapel to raise money for our community partner, the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute during their annual fundraising campaign in March. Last year, we got creative and held a virtual concert in the form of a YouTube playlist featuring the voices of women choir members singing songs written by women. You can listen to the entire "concert" here.
